July 9, 2017:  Called to Suffer

 (Called to Suffer not in the sense that God causes suffering or wants people to suffer.  Rather, that following the call often results in others who reject Jesus persecuting followers and causing suffering.  Christians are called to persevere in the faith and in their calling despite the suffering that sometimes results when others oppose us)

Take time each day to sing a song or pray a Psalm.  Work at memorizing a song or a Psalm, so that you can sing or pray it in times of anxiety.
