Questions for Reflection Card

How does the reading for the day relate to the word Inclusive?

What feelings, images, or thoughts does the word Inclusive invoke for you?

Who do you struggle the most to include as part of God’s people?

Discussion Questions

Describe a time you felt included: what did others do or say that may you feel welcome or included?

Describe a time you felt left out; what did others do or say that made you feel excluded?

What rules, traditions or practices of the church are most meaningful to you?  Why?

Acting on the Word

Make an effort to have a meaningful conversation with someone whose religious or political opinions are very different than your own.  The conversation doesn’t need to be religious or political in nature, although it can be.  What common ground can you identify?
