At District Conference last night, we learned at we have almost reached our goal for Imagine No Malaria!  The Iowa Annual Conference’s goal was to raise 2 million dollars to eliminate malaria deaths in Africa by World Malaria day of 2015.  We are less than $200,000 from that goal!  And the Southwest District has contributed $123,626 of the total amount raised.  Only the East Central and Central Districts–home of Iowa’s largest cities–are ahead of us in the amount of money raised!  We have already cut malaria deaths in half in Africa since 2010!  What a marvelous witness to the healing power of Christ!
