Readings for The Week: October 28-November 3

Elijah was a prophet who spoke God’s word and confronted King Ahab when the King did not follow God’s will.   Elijah’s willingness to speak truth to power often meant that his life was in danger.  But God provided for him even in difficult and dangerous times.
